It seems like we've been on the road more than we've been at home lately, which means I'm once again flush with raw content but buried too far under laundry and other travel detritus to get much posted.
In the meantime, I'm sharing a photo I took of Cricket and me 2.5 years ago when she was 4 months old. I love it because—despite the fact that she wasn't yet talking—her expression says it all: "Mom, you're so embarrassing!" Yes. Yes, I am. Over the next several weeks, I'll be posting a few DIY projects, tips for flying with young kids and photos from our recent trips to Philadelphia and Minneapolis. I've got my work cut out for me... Thinking of having fall portraits taken? It's time to book. Check out the new children's photography section for details. If you book your fall session by Sept. 20, you'll receive a complimentary desk print (your choice of size up to 8x10) from your session. Sessions must take place by Nov. 20 to qualify. And please help spread the word! For every referral, you'll receive a $50 artwork credit toward your next session.
